(based on Bryce) was released a week ago and is now available at the Spielquader-Store as a DIY-Kit. for 24,95 Euros with worldwide shipping (around 4 Euros to the EU and 7 Euros to the rest of the World) The very special thing about the NG? It is one of the most complete DIY-Kit for the CPC and contains not only the PCB and needed parts but also a nice case a vinyl sticker and a reset and pause switch.

At the moment PNG is working at a new ROMAN-Version wich then also supports the new MegaFlash NG Flash-Rom-Box.

MegaFlash NG DIY-Kit for the Schneider/ Amstrad CPC

The MegaFlash NG is a flash memory ROM box for Amstrad CPC computers.

Much like a traditional ROM box the software provided by Mega Flash NG is available immediately after turning on the computer. However, there is no need to program EPROM chips, the MegaFlash NG can be easyly populated by software on the CPC. The operating system of the CPC 464 and 664 supports up to 7 ROM modules, the CPC 6128 supports up to 15 ROM modules. With an additional ROM Booster software, the full capacity of 31 ROM modules will be available. In addition to the ROM functionality, the MegaFlash NG has a connection for a reset button and a pause switch. Two very useful extensions that need to be on every CPC.

Important: For use on an Amstrad CPC 464, 664 or Amstrad computers from outside germany, a 50 pin edge connector or an adapter is required to connect the MegaFlash NG to the expansion port.
