The game we present to you this month is of the classic card game Patience, some people know it by the name Solitaire. As the name suggests, it requires great patience to complete the game. That doesn't mean if you have great patience you will win every time, achieving 1 win out of 20 attempts can be considered fair. The game has the option of viewing the instructions so it is not necessary to explain them here. To make gameplay a little quicker, I have re-defined some of the keys on the keyboard to represent the letters you would use while playing the game. The key with the period on it'.' will represent the letter 'A' and the key with the zero '0' represents the letter 'P'. The rest of the number keys can be used as normal. If for some reason you are not happy with my colour selections, these can be changed by altering the INK statements in line(s) 2640 to 2670. I hope you find playing Patience as much fun as I have had writing it. I hereby promise the computer does not cheat. TAU |
