JOHNATHAN PUGH has a novel way of raising the necessary for vour summer holiday IT's the height of summer, and everybody is off to the Costa Lot on package tours. Everybody, that is, except you. Your big problem is lack of readies, so the only thing for it is a spot of grand larceny. Breaking into a likely-looking house in the best part of town, you find that valuable gems are to be seen in every room. The owner is nowhere in sight, so it's swag bags at the ready chaps, and eyes down for the holiday fund. The only possible hindrance to sun, sea, sand and sacks of loot is the guard spiders, a particularly large and hungry breed of arachnid. Oh, and the stairs are away for repair, so your only means of getting about is on the lifts and landings. If you get caught by a spider it's curtains. If you fall too far, that's fatal too. If you get squashed under a lift or crushed against the ceiling while on one, that's also moderately terminal. The controls are Z and C for left an right. Good luck - see you by t' swimming pool!
