Bomber, from S. Dolphin up in bonny Scotland, is easily the oldest, gnarliest game ever to hit a computer. This dinosaur surfaced first on the ZX81 and has appeared on every computer since. With good reason too: it's simple and fun. You fly your ever descending aircraft over a city, using the space bar to bomb skyscrapers as you go. If you're fast then you'll land safely, if not then you could have a close encounter with a skyscraper. THE BLIMMIN' BOMBER FIASCO... Grr... As so many of you have pointed out to us since the last issue was printed (thanks, by the way) last month's Bomber listing is straight out of the Amstrad manual. (How embarrassing). Just to make the point yet again, listings printed in Type-Ins MUST be all your own work! Send in something that's not and you'll get found out, you'll waste your time and ours and you won't get paid. 'Nuff said? |
