It may not contain advanced features such as inverting and mirroring, but is short, simple and displays all the numbers needed in the SYMBOL command, to define a character. Symblaid draws up an eight by eight grid box and allows you to move a cur sea. forward by hitting the space bar and backwards with the delete key (DEL) To plot a point hit the full stop Once you've finished a character definition the program displays something like SYMBOL z,125,0,56,0,0,56,0,125 Jot this information down When you come to define a character within your own program you will need the following lines. 10 SYMBOL AFTER z-1

Le premier de la gamme fut le CPC 464 en 1984, équipé d'un lecteur de cassettes intégré il se plaçait en concurrent du Commodore C64 beaucoup plus compliqué à utiliser et plus cher. Ce fut un réel succès et sorti cette même années le CPC 664 équipé d'un lecteur de disquettes trois pouces intégré. Sa vie fut de courte durée puisqu'en 1985 il fut remplacé par le CPC 6128 qui était plus compact, plus soigné et surtout qui avait 128Ko de RAM au lieu de 64Ko. |
