ATOM SMASHER LOADING INSTRUCTIONS Reset  computer  by  holding  down  CTRL  SHIFT, and ESC keys together in that order.  Place  cassette  info  Datacorder.  Rewind tape to beginning and press STOP/EJECT  once.  Press  CTRL  and small ENTER keys simultaneously then press PLAY  followed  by  any  key.  This program will take about 3 minutes to load. Playing instructions will appear on the screen. Amsoft JY1 Joystick compatible. The  scene  -  The  heart of a runaway Nuclear reactor. To delay melt-down you must shoot the Protons with your remote controlled Super Laser. Each time that you  shoot  a Proton, an extra Electron is released. If you shoot an Electron, you speed up the impending melt-down, and the  Electrons will move faster. As the  melt-down encroaches you can blast it away, or destroy it by ramming your way through it. When you move, fuel is used. Fuel is automatically replenished when  you are stationary (by the Cosmic Ray Absorbtion panels). When you fire, your Super Laser heats up.... beware of overheating. The  game  finishes  instantly  if you run out of fuel, or if you overheat the laser. You  start  with  three  lives,  you lose a life each time you collide with an Electron. CONTROLS KEYBOARD You  can  select  your  own keys for movement and firing, or use the cursor as follows: UP      = Forward LEFT    = Rotate Anti-clockwise RIGHT   = Rotate Clockwise DOWN    = Fire JOYSTICK Laser  will move in the direction the Joystick is pointed. Use the Fire Button to fire.
