PARA ACADEMY SELECTION Press the relevant number to select the following: 1. Keyboard - selects keyboard control, indicated by medal. 2. Joystick Ý selects joystick control, indicated by medal 3. Define keys - alters control keys from default settings. 4. One player - selects either one or two player game. 5. Start game Ý puts the Para in at Private level. KEYBOARD DEFAULT KEYS Z - left, X - right, V - up, B - down. SPACE - fire. The  paratrooper  is  controlled  by  a  rapid  left and right movement of the joystick (or keys}, leading to an increase in energy. Pressing FIRE begins the series  of  gruelling  tests which are designed to push the Para to exhaustion against  the clock. Success allows you to risethro jgh the ranks, from Private to Corporal to Sergeant. SPRINTING: An  essential skill that could make all the difference between making the kill and  being  eliminated. The distance meter enables you to pace yourself to the finish line. TARGET SHOOTING: Deadly  accuracy  is  needed to shoot the fast-moving targets as you have only one bullet for each kill. SWIMMING: It  doesn't  matter  how you swim - as long as it's fast! Conserve your energy for the second half of the race. WEIGHTLIFTING: A  gruelling  test  of stamina and effective use of body energy. Rapid lifting of the 50kg bar will push you to your limits. THE ROPES: Complete  as  many  full  climbs  as  possible  on  the  parallel ropes in the available time. TUG-OF-WAR: You'll  need  technique as well as strength to beat top PT instructor Corporal "Brickhouse" Mills.
