WARLORD (Interceptor Micros)

Warlord is a very entertaining game, much in the same format as Jewels of Babylon, with similar graphics. It has some rather neat puzzles and isn't overly difficult.

(You begin in a wooded vale) E, RELEASE HARE (turns out to be a god, who tells you to seek out his crown), W, U, E, E, GET ACORNS, N, GIVE ACORNS TO RAVEN (this one also turns into a god! She gives you a torc), GET TORC, N, E, E, E, D, GET FOOD, GET IRON, U, W, S, S, D, W, W, JUMP INTO POOL, E, N, CLIMB OUT, GET HELMET, WEAR HELMET, JUMP INTO POOL, S, W, CLIMB OUT, E, E, GET SALT, U, N, N, W, W, W (the warrior, seeing your helmet, leaves), W, N, E, E, N, BUY MEAT WITH
IRON, N, N, W, GIVE SALT TO GUARD (this bribe will get you inside), W, S, S, S, E, N, SLEEP (a woman lays a sword by your side), GET SWORD, S, W, N, N, N, E, N (if you've gotten rid of the guard), N, N, EAT FOOD, GET SHIELD, S, S, S, E, E, S, KILL BEAR (you must be carrying the shield for protection), S, DROP SHIELD, WEAR TORC, S (the woman will take you through the swamp - don't trust her!), N, E, E, N, E, S, THROW MEAT TO WOLVES (they run off), E, N, E, E, E, U, E, JUMP ONTO STRAW, GET LADDER, PLACE LADDER AGAINST PLATFORM, E, GET CLOAK, WEAR CLOAK, W, S, GET STAFF, N, U, W, D, W, W, W, S, W, N, W, S, W, W, N,N, W, W, N, E, KILL OX (using the sword), DROP TORC (you know the way through the swamp now, anyway), UNTIE ROPE, GET ROPE, W, S

Now walk around until you are attacked by a roman (he'll turn up after you've scored 50%). When this happens, KILL ROMAN and he'll run off. Go look for him - he'll be somewhere in the southern part of the landscape. Simply CAPTURE ROMAN with the rope and make your way to the Circle of Stones, which is E, E, N from the Cadwell Hillfort.

GIVE ROMAN TO DRUID (he offers you an amulet in return), GET AMULET, WEAR AMULET, S, S, S, E, E, N, E, S, E, S, S (you need the amulet to go further south), S, EXAMINE MONOLITH, ENTER FISSURE, D, DROP AMULET, GET URN (you must wear the helmet!), U, W, N, N, N, W, N, N, N, E, E (you must wear the cloak to pass the fire wall), STEP INTO RING (you're transported to the Vale of Cuchulainn), N, W, N, EXAMINE SLAB, PLACE SWORD IN GROOVE, GET SWORD, EXAMINE SWORD (now it has a blue sheen - it's given you enough power to kill the Fomorian), S, W, KILL FOMORIAN, S, W, KILL FOMORIAN, N, N (you must carry the staff to get through the enchanted hills), D, S, THROW URN INTO FIRE (warriors emerge, slaying the Fomorian), N, U, S, S, E, N, E, E, S, STEP INTO RING (you've completed the game!!!)

Note: the silver is of no importance, and the food is only necessary if you're running out of energy.
