A book that goes totally against the grain in terms of all that I hold dear, being totally boring and uninteresting in terms of basic concept. On the other hand Dynamic Games for the Amstrad doesn't have that much competition as yet, so undoubtedly it's of some interest to Amstrad owners. The book is a collection of games listings of various kinds; there are mental puzzles, short adventures, simulations, etc. Each is preceded by just enough text to explain what the game does — there is no real attempt at annotating the listings. If you want a book consisting entirely of listings for games, most of which you will play only once or twice then this is the one for you. It is undoubtedly no worse than the ones which will follow it. Graham Taylor, PCW |
