This machine code program provides an unusual way of presenting text on-screen, to brighten your programs. Characters can be scrolled up, down, left or right, and wrap around on themselves to give a rolling effect. Type in the Basic listing. The program will check the data you have typed-in. If you have made a mistake, an error message will be displayed. If you have typed-in the data correctly three new Basic commands will he installed. You may want to save the machine code as a binary file. To do this type SAVE"rollchar",b,42000,420To load this binary file type MEMORY 41999:LOAD' "rollchar",42000:CALL 42000Five RSX commands are added to Basic. Typing |HELP will list the commands and their syntax. The other four commands are: |UP,x,y

|RIGHT,x,yEach command rolls the character at co-ordinates x,y in one of four directions, one pixel at a time. Repeating the command eight times will cause the character to wrap-around to its former state. Unfortunately these commands work onlv in MODE 2. Le premier de la gamme fut le CPC 464 en 1984, équipé d'un lecteur de cassettes intégré il se plaçait en concurrent du Commodore C64 beaucoup plus compliqué à utiliser et plus cher. Ce fut un réel succès et sorti cette même années le CPC 664 équipé d'un lecteur de disquettes trois pouces intégré. Sa vie fut de courte durée puisqu'en 1985 il fut remplacé par le CPC 6128 qui était plus compact, plus soigné et surtout qui avait 128Ko de RAM au lieu de 64Ko. |
