It was a land of peace. But now, the king is gone, and a mischievous band of genies has escaped and is running amuck. Help a young prince prove his mental and physical worth, return the genies back into their lamps and gain his rightful place on the throne.
There are two main parts to the game The first requires you to navigate through a tunnel formed by rectangles {similar to the hypers pace tunnel in Dark Star) If you are successful then you will move onto the second stage Hero you must hit a gong 3 times (this will summon a genie). He blows some coloured notes into the air and you must hit the corresponding gongs If you com plete this stage then you go onto the next tunnel mis process continues until you have assembled the requ ired amount of lamps The graphics in this game are only just above average, though the effect generated in the tunnel is quite good Master of the Lamps is immediately playable but easily completed on the lower levels A moderately fun game that lacks in addictive qualities Overall AMTIX! rating: 64% |

Le premier de la gamme fut le CPC 464 en 1984, équipé d'un lecteur de cassettes intégré il se plaçait en concurrent du Commodore C64 beaucoup plus compliqué à utiliser et plus cher. Ce fut un réel succès et sorti cette même années le CPC 664 équipé d'un lecteur de disquettes trois pouces intégré. Sa vie fut de courte durée puisqu'en 1985 il fut remplacé par le CPC 6128 qui était plus compact, plus soigné et surtout qui avait 128Ko de RAM au lieu de 64Ko. |
