Have you ever dreamed about a journey far beyond the known regions of the universe? Hibernated 1 - This Place is Death (Director's Cut) is an Infocom style interactive fiction game. It's a complete rewrite of the classic, award-winning Hibernated game using Infocom's Z-machine standard, with tons of additional narrative content and riddles. If Infocom had been asked to recreate the classic Hibernated, the Director's Cut would have been the outcome.

R7:The game itself got quite a few bug fixes, the most prominent was a fix of the total score. You were able to get more points than the game announced you could get. Release 7 also comes with some minor user experience enhancements. So much for the game itself.
R8: I've just released Hibernated 1 Director's Cut R8, which is all about user experience. It addresses quite a few things I noticed when the German Twitch.tv streamer Grimmnebulin played the game through. We also stumbled upon a few more typos and as usual these are hard to spot, because our brain doesn't always want us to see them.
R10: It addresses a minor issue which rarely could happen while playing the game, even though I fortunately never got a report for it.
R12: I just had to publish release 12. It fixes an issue with the PunyInform library that caused a few of the interpreters to throw warnings when playing, particuarly the Amiga and Atari ST version of the game. Nothing else has changed. So if you were not playing the game on these systems, you can stick with release 11 as well, which rolled out a few days ago. Thanks for your support Fredrik!

L'Amstrad CPC est une machine 8 bits à base d'un Z80 à 4MHz. Le premier de la gamme fut le CPC 464 en 1984, équipé d'un lecteur de cassettes intégré il se plaçait en concurrent du Commodore C64 beaucoup plus compliqué à utiliser et plus cher. Ce fut un réel succès et sorti cette même années le CPC 664 équipé d'un lecteur de disquettes trois pouces intégré. Sa vie fut de courte durée puisqu'en 1985 il fut remplacé par le CPC 6128 qui était plus compact, plus soigné et surtout qui avait 128Ko de RAM au lieu de 64Ko.
