Based on Bomb Jack Extra Sugar for the Amstrad CPC. This new port does not contain all of the extra features and game modes of Extra Sugar (which I'm not sure many people bothered with to be honest) but rather is a straightforward port of the arcade game which makes use of the Amstrad Plus features, namely extra colours and hardware sprites. Gameplay is ported directly from Extra Sugar with some small tweaks to bring the difficulty closer to the arcade game. The game will work on any Amstrad Plus computer or GX4000 console. Note that in order to use the save feature in ACE-DL, make sure you have the latest version of the emulator, and that "Pico-GX save mechanism" is enabled in the plugin manager. File saving is automatic when running from the Pico-GX cart. |

Le premier de la gamme fut le CPC 464 en 1984, équipé d'un lecteur de cassettes intégré il se plaçait en concurrent du Commodore C64 beaucoup plus compliqué à utiliser et plus cher. Ce fut un réel succès et sorti cette même années le CPC 664 équipé d'un lecteur de disquettes trois pouces intégré. Sa vie fut de courte durée puisqu'en 1985 il fut remplacé par le CPC 6128 qui était plus compact, plus soigné et surtout qui avait 128Ko de RAM au lieu de 64Ko. |
