From the land down under come six sports that will never make the Summer Olympics. These offbeat but entertaining events do, however, make for a lot of fun.In the Belly Whack, your overweight diver needs as many good breaths as possible so he can spring off the board, go into a horizontal position, and land flat on his tummy. Equally zany are the Dry River Race, in which you and a friend run with a boat over your heads down a dry river bed, and the Beer Shoot (a.k.a. the Soda Shoot), in which your buddies toss empty bottles from your jeep Less bizarre —but also entertaining— are the Boomerang Throw, Marlin Fishing, and Beach Footy, a kickball game played with two-man teams.

Le premier de la gamme fut le CPC 464 en 1984, équipé d'un lecteur de cassettes intégré il se plaçait en concurrent du Commodore C64 beaucoup plus compliqué à utiliser et plus cher. Ce fut un réel succès et sorti cette même années le CPC 664 équipé d'un lecteur de disquettes trois pouces intégré. Sa vie fut de courte durée puisqu'en 1985 il fut remplacé par le CPC 6128 qui était plus compact, plus soigné et surtout qui avait 128Ko de RAM au lieu de 64Ko. |
