If you want to dump whatever is on your screen to printer, this handy listing from Nigel Magowan of Hillsborough, County Down, is just what you need. Type in the program and run it. If everything goes according to plan then the message New Command: |DUMP will appear. Then you can save Textdump as a binary file: SAVE "TEXTDUMP.BIN", B, 41000, 100To load it again, type the following commands: MEMORY 40999 LOAD"TEXTDUMP.BIN",41000 CALL 41000Alternatively you can save this as a Basic file: SAVE "TEXTDUMP". When you have a screen of text, issue the command |TDUMP to send its contents to the printer. If your printer has a dipswitch allowmg you to toggle between carriage return (CR) and carriage return and linefeed (CR & LF) set it for CR & LF. On the Amstrad DMP-2000 printer, this is dipswitch 4; move it to the on position. AA |
