An absolute corker this one, and a member of that oh-so-rare breed - an original game! The objective of Missile is simple; you destroy, using a a selection of missiles, a fleet of enemy ships crossing the horizon. Sounds old hat? Don't belive it. Originality lies in the way the missiles move to their targets. Each one you fire is launched up into the sky way above the horizon, reaching a limited height at which point the missile falls back to earth - or in this case, sea. Using your judgement you've got to decide just when to launch the missile in order for it to fall back to earth on the enemy ship. Philip Melvin of Doncaster's the man behind the game, and he's written something which will keep you glued to your keyboard for hours on end. Full instructions and details of all enemy shipping are included in the game. AA |
