IT'S the third to last day of your latest tour of duty as weapons officer at the earth defence station on the far side of the moon — and your worst nightmares come true. Through the Holographic Imaging Tracker (HIT) you see hoards of space fighters heading your way at a quarter of the speed of light. Before you know it you are surrounded. The aliens attack from the launch bay of an assault cruiser which infuriatingly lies just outside your laser range. However, using your renowned skill with lasers you should be able to fend the aliens off and save the earth from invasion. Can you succeed in this, your toughest and most dangerous mission? The program is written in a well structured format to help you type it in and debug it. As an aid to avoiding error, checksums have been included in the machine code data statements. If you make a typing mistake the message "Error in line xxxx" will appear, followed by "To restart type GOTO 280". The reason you can't simply re-run the program is that the SYMBOL and MEMORY commands at the start prevent you from doing so. CWTA

Le premier de la gamme fut le CPC 464 en 1984, équipé d'un lecteur de cassettes intégré il se plaçait en concurrent du Commodore C64 beaucoup plus compliqué à utiliser et plus cher. Ce fut un réel succès et sorti cette même années le CPC 664 équipé d'un lecteur de disquettes trois pouces intégré. Sa vie fut de courte durée puisqu'en 1985 il fut remplacé par le CPC 6128 qui était plus compact, plus soigné et surtout qui avait 128Ko de RAM au lieu de 64Ko. |
