It's the latest demo from Donut System - hurrah! This demo is quite new, and it shows the talents of the members of Donut System, and what they got up to in their last meeting - it makes for interesting reading. The demo starts off with a nice Donut System logo, and then the "BePSiL Generations" logo flashes on the screen. Press SPACE, and now it's on to the "Diet BePSiL" part. This bit was written by Malfunction and was also seen in the classic "Battle-Spheres." It starts off with another "BePSiL Generations" logo bouncing up and down the screen, and then some bouncy text, which thoroughly slags off Jonty Jones (hope you're listening, Jonty! - Nich)! There's also music taken from the "Power System Megademo." Once the text has faded out, the "BePSiL Max" part loads up. This consists of a fairly basic message writer with a nice font, and some really cool pictures, converted from the Amiga, and another from the "Sewer Side Meeting" demo, which Slice describes as "pretty dave!" Again, there's some nice music, too. All in all, this demo is really rather good, although some of it is written in BASIC. We should be seeing more good demos from this lot in the next Donut System meeting. OTTO

Le premier de la gamme fut le CPC 464 en 1984, équipé d'un lecteur de cassettes intégré il se plaçait en concurrent du Commodore C64 beaucoup plus compliqué à utiliser et plus cher. Ce fut un réel succès et sorti cette même années le CPC 664 équipé d'un lecteur de disquettes trois pouces intégré. Sa vie fut de courte durée puisqu'en 1985 il fut remplacé par le CPC 6128 qui était plus compact, plus soigné et surtout qui avait 128Ko de RAM au lieu de 64Ko. |
