SLAP FIGHT   Imagine 1987  CONTROLS : Keyboard, Kempston, Cursor  ----------------------------------------------------------------------  AIM : As the pilot of the Slapfighter, you must destroy the evil alien  swarms which confront you on the planet Orac.    GAMEPLAY : Much like any other vertically-scrolling shoot-em-up; fly  around the monochrome landscape shooting the hostile aliens and ground-  based guns. If an alien wave is completely wiped out, a star-shaped  power-up is dropped. This will highlight one of the powers on the left  of the screen. Press SPACE to select it, or alternatively wait and  collect more power-ups to advance to the next power.  COMMENTS : "Above average shoot-em-up".  RATING : 72% (CRASH #43, August 1987)  NOW : Very much a formula shoot-em-up, unfortunately made far too hard  by the fact that it's almost impossible to spot the enemy bullets.  ----------------------------------------------------------------------  KEYS : Redefinable (but don't choose SPACE as fire!)
