This is a NYYRIKKI port of zDoom for SymbOS, which was written for the TI83/84 calculators about 15 years ago. During the last 2 days I was adapting and optimizing it a little bit, and now I made the first test on my real CPC.

Very cool Z80 project, all my respects to the TI "zDoom" guys, and to NYYRIKKI for this crazy port!

It's not yet complete but hopefully will be by the end of next week, so it's time to make an announcement. As well as creating Roland Goes Rescuing 2 live on YouTube, I'm working on another game that will be released by Christmas:
'KNIGHTMARE: CAN YOU BEAT THE CHALLENGE?' is a choose-your-own adventure game book from the 1980s, based on the TV show Knightmare. I'm converting it into a choose-your-own adventure game for the Amstrad CPC (and perhaps other systems in the future). It's written in BASIC so you can modify it to your heart's content, should you wish to.
The game will be made freely available as soon as it's finished.

The secret project is not secrete any more, and has a name: Hyperdrive.

I’m officially working on an vertical scroller shooter for the Amstrad CPC, targeting 64K and CPC+ cartridges –without any CPC+ specific features for now– and the Dandanator. So far it has been tested on emulators (CPC+ on CPCEC and WinAPE, Dandanator on RVM2 and CPEC), and my Amstrad CPC 464 using the CPR file and the M4 add-on.

I don’t like games that put technical excellence over gameplay, but for now the highlight is smooth one pixel scroll at 25Hz, and hopefully the fun gameplay will come later. My own Uchussen Gamma is going to be an important influence, of course, as well as the graphic style of Dawn of Kernel.
