This is a rather nice clone of "Space Invaders" which has lots and lots of alien formations and some excellent graphics! It's also in German, though, and since I can't speak any German whatsoever, it took me a while to work out what to do.

So, once you've loaded Bo! (and it takes some time to load), you can start blasting. There are full highscores stored on the disc, and a help screen, which tells you all the keypresses you need. There's also easy, normal and hard difficulty levels, and you can even change and alter the alien formations and create your own, although I haven't managed to get the hang of that yet.

The game itself is simply brilliant. Your spaceship moves left and right fast and smoothly, and the aliens zoom about the screen with no flicker at all. There are an enormous range of aliens, too, and although the graphics are in MODE 1, they are still absolutely stunning.

Every two waves of aliens you fight against, you can collect some power-ups using any credits you've collected (you get 2 credits for killing one alien). There's quite a range of stuff, although most of them don't seem to do much.

As well as highscores, names are also stored permanently on disc. There are 10 names, and you can enter your own name and initials and save them. Your name will be put on to the highscore list if you get a highscore.

Even if you can't understand German, Bo! is still playable. One thing I'd like to know is how the author can score some 100,000 points, when I can't even get 10,000! Can anyone help me? (Tom Dean, take note!)
